The College of Graduate Studies was formally established by an Amiri Decree issued on 16th August, 1977. This college supervises the implementation of Kuwait University policies concerning graduate studies. It has a wide range of activities which are conducted through its academic committees and administrative units. Those activities include the review and development of rules and regulations governing graduate studies, the evaluation of current and proposed graduate programs, the processing of applications for admission to approved programs, the registration of degree and non-degree students, and the preparation of various publications needed by students, faculty members, and the public. The Graduate College is located on the second floor of building number KH2 in Khalidiya.
