The Higher organizing committee of the unified annual ceremony headed by the Secretary General of the University of Kuwait Dr. Anwar Al-Yatama, has convened to discuss preparations for the ceremony which is held under the patronage of His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Monday 15th of March in which class 39 of university graduates will be honored.
The meeting was also attended by Assistant Secretary General for Administrative Affairs, Ghassan Al-Asfoor, Assistant Secretary General for Financial Affairs, Awatef Al-Sanei, directors of concerned administrations and members of the higher committee for graduation ceremonies.
In this regard, spokesman of Kuwait University, Director of Public Relations and Information Department, Faisal Maqseed said that during the meeting, preparations of concerned administrations were discussed and their readiness were confirmed, in addition to the availability of coordination with the Diwan of His Highness the Crown Prince, beside that, the ceremony's program was certified.
Maqseed also said that the total number of graduates reaches 4080 male and female graduates from different colleges as follows: 278 form College of Graduate Studies, 257 from College of Arts, 240 from College of Science, 282 from College of Law, 506 from College of Administrative Sciences, 484 from College of Engineering and Petroleum, 172 from College of Medicine, 132 from College of Allied Health Sciences, 635 from College of Education, 283 from College of Shari'a and Islamic Studies, 42 from College of Pharmacy, 46 from College of Dentistry, 630 from College of Social Sciences and 103 from College for women.
What is new about this ceremony is the contribution of the television Orchestra, which will entertain the attendees by playing national songs," Maqseed added.
In conclusion, Maqseed congratulated the graduates asking from Almighty Allah to keep Kuwait's happiness with its graduates, enlighten their way to success and help them in practical life to serve the country.
