The recommendation to publish some of the current conference's researches in the Journal of International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry
The Scientific Committee of Kuwait's first chemical conference under the title ( Chemistry and Industry) chaired by Dr. Noriya Al-Awadhi, has announced the conference's recommendations, which the committee has approved after the closing session and which confirmed that the conference will be held periodically every two years provided that Kuwait Chemical society holds the next conference in Kuwait during March of 2012. the conference's dates and themes will be assigned later. Furthermore, the Scientific committee of the conference has recommended inviting the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), American Chemistry Society and other chemical societies that will participate in organizing the next conference's events.
She also pointed out the recommendation of the president of International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry to publish some of the current conference's researches In the journal of International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry, asking the participants to provide the full research in order to be published.
On the occasion of the United Nation's adoption of 2010 as the International Year of Chemistry and out of Kuwait Chemical Society's responsibility as a member of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry who is entrusted in celebrating this event, Dr. Noriya added that Kuwait Chemical Society will organize a workshop as
one of the conference's activities during the year 2011 that will attract the attention to different educational subjects in Chemistry such as Green Chemistry, Microscale
Chemistry, Modern Chemistry and updating, teaching and learning Chemistry. As she continued saying that the conference asked to encourage more participation of new researchers in Chemistry and Students' of the Graduate Studies to bring out their researches in the upcoming conferences, In addition to asking the Union of Kuwaiti Industries to be a member in the International Council of Chemistry Associations and stressing on encouraging the Unions of Gulf Chemical Industries to participate in this council.
The conference closed its recommendations with the invitation to the specialized Kuwaiti companies in the Chemical industries to participate in the committee of Chemistry and Industry of International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry.
In conclusion of her statement, Dr. Nouriya Al-Awadhi, thanked his highness the Prime Minister for his sponsorship of this conference, along withSheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, the Minister of Oil and Information, the organizers, sponsors of the conference , working committees, the media, the press and all the participants and the audience from inside and outside of Kuwait specially the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC).
