Deanship of Students' Affairs was established in 5 / 2 / 1976 to take over full control of all affairs with the students during their university, through the provision of services that they need the most such as academic affairs, housing affairs, social welfare, cultural activities, academic, artistic , and social , and sports and refine personal skills, and providing programs and care for people with special needs, as well as scholarships for students from abroad.

Deanship objectives:

1. Prepare university youth to contribute to achieve a balanced integrated
Personal and social relations
2. Aware the university youth and strengthen their sense of belonging
to their homeland.
3. The provide cultural, academic, artistic , social and sports care
4. The provide care for people with special needs , and
scholarship candidates from abroad.
5. Develop and refine the energies and talents of university
youth and recruit in productive work, with benefit from the
leisure's time with the proper guidance

Therefore, we find that the message of the Deanship is only:

TO PROVIDE GREAT SERVICE FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS.

The target groups are university students at all levels , undergraduate and graduate studies.

The Deanship responsibilities toward students lie in two main areas:

1. Student Activities: include cultural activities, academic, artistic, social,
sports and training and skills development.

2. Student Services: include students' service in the areas of academic,
housing, guidance and counseling and publications and sponsoring
scholarship students from abroad.

Provides activities and services mentioned in a group of departments comprising the Deanship, namely:

1. Department of Student Affairs.
2. Department of Cultural and Artistic Activities.
3. Department of Sports Activities.
4. Department of Social Welfare.
5. Department of Housing and Abroad Student Affairs.
6. Department of Academic Guidance.
